Tin Can Bay & Cooloola Cove Birds.

This is to just show that there is more than just waders we see when we do the monthly wader counts at Tin Can Bay and Cooloola Cove.

Birds in a Fig Tree

During our last Wader Count we noticed that the Fig Tree where we park had lots of fruit, and there were lots of birds coming and going. No sooner had we gotten out of the car we noticed there were Mistletoebird,  Lewin's Honeyeater,
White-throated Honeyeater and Mangrove Honeyeater, all very busy having a feed in the tree.

Waders ready to leave.

Almost time to wave our waders goodbye as they head off to their breeding grounds. The Pacific Golden Plover were showing off their beautiful colours.
