As we walked along the pathway at Mooloolaba we could hear Little Wattlebirds everywhere. They did not seem to care how close you came to them as they went about their own business. In the last photo this Wattlebird flew down and stayed there as people walked past.
Little Wattlebird (Anthochaera chrysoptera)
The following two photos show just some of the erosion caused by the huge swells our coastline has been subjected to over the last month.

Wow. You do have some serious beach erosion. I love to see the birds you photographed and am trying to twist my tongue around to say Mooloolaba.
Is it: Moo loo laba ?
Thank you for your visit to My Birds Blog.

Hi Abe
Glad you love the birds and yes you were nearly right it is Moo loo la ba.
Thanks for the visit.
I have managed to get quite close to our resident ones, esecially when they are intent on terrorising the cat. Nice shot.
Thanks Arija.
Some heavy beach erosion, Mooloolaba beach is hardly recogniseable. I do like the photo of the stick in the water though, very nice :) oh and the wattle birds are also very good. Thankyou for the nice pics.
Thanks Tarzan glad you liked them.
The beach will come back in time.
