I just love to sit on our verandah to watch and listen to the birds that visit our garden. On this occasion we had a visit from a group of Pale-headed Rosella's, one of our many colourful parrot species.

Lovely birds to have hanging about - I don't know what you do about the camera hog in the last frame - that one's as bad as some people. :)

Cute birds. Would like to see one. I thought I saw a yellow coloured bird past once but not sure what type. Mostly lorikeets around here.

What an incredibly colorful bird Neil. Very nice captures. You even got the red, undertail coverts on the first picture. Otherwise, I would have never known of that field marking (just in case I ever make it down under for a birding trip);-)

What a great way to spend an afternoon. These birds are so amazing. What a thrill to have this as a garden...I wish I had this to enjoy everyday
