Australian King Parrot

This male King Parrot decided to pay us a visit the other day and by the looks of it the Rainbow Lorikeets would have preferred he did not come at all.

The rainbows are just bullies Neil, they scoot the kings from any seed we put out too.

Yes Duncan the rainbows are bullies but the King Parrot stood its ground and the Rainbows left first

Both the Lorikeets and the King Parrot are incredibly gorgeous birds and I think Wren is right. That second photo looks as if the Lorikeet is ready to take a bite out of the King Parrot. The last shot really shows off the King Parrot's colors.
