On a stroll down the Tin Can Bay Foreshore Birdwalk today, we came across this pair of Galahs checking out a nesting hollow. The Rainbow Lorikeet above them seemed a bit annoyed.

Gorgeous shots of the Galahs Neil. You have so many beautifully bright birds down there!
Thanks Larry they are a very beautiful bird.
Very nice. A good morning I'd say!
Great photos and captions. They are beautiful birds. It's not the same as in the wild but I saw the Lorikeet and Galahs and some others at the Australia exhibit in the Baltimore Aquarium yesterday.
My money's on the galahs to win the real estate battle between them and the lorikeets.
The lori should know that you have to move quickly when you find the right property for your home. Better luck next time, but meanwhile, more tales of the galahs!
Thanks Mick, Eileen, Snail and Wren I think I will back the Galahs as well.
My vote goes to the Galahs as well. Lovely photos and very nice captions!
Haha... it seems an appropriate conversation for the birds to be having! ;)
Pretty little guys!
...pastel pink and grey--what a gorgeous color combination, and one I never get to see here! Love all your birds...
