I like the colouring on the Goshawk. That is certainly not something I see down this way but neither is the frost! - or not very often :-)
How Lucky to have such a visitor! Such a beautiful bird. Unfortunately we have also had the visits from the frost on the darling downs.
great capture of the Goshawk
Unlucky with the frost I imagine, but you did well to get the goshawk.
It's a very handsome bird! I see more of the frost around here. :)
thanks for the cool-down! very hot in texas right now. :) love his sharp eye!
Cool sighting and photo of the Goshawk!
good to see the goshawk visiting. The cold air is spreading about all over; glad I'm not near the snowies!
Brilliant photos, the Goshawk is hiding, what for?
FROST! Oh my goodness!
nice capture. :) Sometimes you have to be grateful for getting anything at all. :)
Just wonderful this moment. Amazing !Best regards, Synnöve
He looks very focused!
Looks like winter is upon you! The goshawk is a beautiful raptor and I love your pictures. Also enjoyed the mixed bag of birds in the earlier post ... slow internet connection, so will combine comments . Thanks for both posts.
I've never seen hawks; Wonderful picture♡♡♡Sending you Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
I don't think I've spotted a Goshawk before. Nice peek.
That eye looks so fierce. It reminds me of one of my encounters. In New Mexico while looking for a Goshawk nest in its known territory I squeaked like a rabbit, not realizing I was actually right under its nest. It did not attack, but looked so fierce that I just ducked down and crept away.
The Goshawk is a magnificent raptor! Very nice to catch any image of one!Hard to imagine your cool temperatures as central Florida is steamy and hot.Take care.
nice bird, I do love that bright eye. Also, really like the Pale-headed Rosella post.Sorry for the much delayed reply - I've been in the UK for a month and I decided to let the blogging take a back seat - normal service will resume very soon!Stewart M - Melbourne
