Lovely birds - and bees! The little Red-capped with the wings lifted is beautiful! I need to take a walk out that way soon.
Great collection of birds. The Red-Capped is one of my favorites. The bee shot is amazing.. Have a great week!

Thanks for the name. You were right it is a Victoria’s riflebird :)
Great series, loved the birds and thought the bee swarm shot was very cool!
Beautiful series of photographs of these different birds.
The bees picture is really great.
Best regards, Irma
WOW 1294 birds. How wonderful and a great selection.
Those bees would keep me from going any further!! Ewwww.
But the birds...gorgeous. I've never seen the red capped before. It's very pretty.
That's a lot of waders and a good selection of species.
What a beautiful place! Great captures!
Beautiful nature and waterfowl are wonderful to see. I think the bees on the last picture really special!
That old tune of 'let me tell you bout the birds and the bees and the flowers and the trees' is running through my mind. :)
Great shots!
That is a lot of birds!!!
Love the bee shot but I'm allergic to their sting so I wouldn't have wanted to get too close just in case.
Beautiful birds, so many of them all in one place.
What a great collection of birds and other wonders of nature (that been nest is amazing and a little scary to me).
And I love that you see so many birds.
Sounds like you had a successful bird count in spite of the heat and humidity.
I have to say I really like waders - but I have not managed to get out much so far this year - better get my skates on!
Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
A good count indeed. I wouldn't want to count the bees though...
