Australian King Parrot (Alisterus scapularis) |
Just down the road from our place is a park with a pond and sometimes you can be lucky to see Spoonbills there, as I was the other day.
Royal Spoonbill (Platalea regia) |

I do know where to find Spoonbill but I wish that I also knew where to find King Parrots! Very nice to have them for visitors to you feeder. Great photos.
The King Parrot is very regal in those bright colours!
Beautiful exotic birds, great shots!
Nice birds. I have never been able to get that close to a spoonbill - all my shots are rather distant!

Wow, awesome birds. I love the King Parrot, what a cool feeder bird. And the Spoonbill is awesome. Great sightings and photos.
The parrot is a beauty. Especially from the front.
The Parrot is beautiful - very colorful. The Spoonbill photo is very nice, too
Have a wonderful day!
Two gorgeous birds and shots.
The juvenile parrot is very cute!
What an adorable parrot!
You have blue spoonbills -- ours are pink (Roseate Spoonbills). wouldn't it be neat to see them together?
And that parrot is so amazing -- I can't get over that this would be a backyard bird. Lucky you!!
