Silvereye (Zosterops lateralis)
White-browed Scrubwren (Sericornis frontalis)
Signs of an early Spring, with this White-browed Scrubwren gathering nesting material.
White-throated Treecreeper (Cormobates leucophaeus)
Koala (Phascolarctos cinereus)
As I was sitting outside the cottage, movement in the distant trees caught my eye. After closer inspection with binoculars then telescope, we saw that we had a Koala on the property.

love the first bird, but the scrubwren is beautiful, too!
Another great series of photos. My favorite is the Scrub Wren - I have never had any luck finding these where the light was good!
Nice photos! You have many birds we never see in the north, but some sort of treecreeper we have too!
Oh, and how nice to have a koala in the neighbourhood! :)
Greetings Pia in Sweden
my favourites is the silvereye and the treekreeper. :)
your post screams 'Australia' once you add the koala photograph. What a lovely treat. Love the silver-eye and scrub-wren, delightful post
So cute, - a great post. I did see koala visiting Australia in 2008!
Pretty birds and I love the Koala. The treecreeper is one of my favorites. Awesome photos!
A cracking series Neil.
Beautiful birds. I had seen first one near my home, bit did not knew the name before.
I'm first and foremost a birder but I'd just love to see and photograph a koala like that Neil.
Of course, the koala melts my heart...you Aussies are so lucky to have them on your homeland.
And the tree creeper .... that one is absolutely my favorite of your share this week.
Silent Silhouettes
Beautiful little birds and a koala too! NICE!
Wonderful birds and that koala! Wow. I can only imagine seeing something like that in the forest. Every one of your birds is lovely.
Treasure your Koala.
They're under pressure these days.
Not that one seems "worried".
Cheers
Denis
Wish I had the knowledge to identify so many species. :)
So glad you included the Koala. That would have been a treat to see.
That Silvereye is a striking beauty, Neil! Very nice images!
