Australian Pelican
(Pelecanus conspicillatus)
Coming in for a landing.
I Know what you are thinking, I have a big mouth.
I know there is food here somewhere
Maybe not
Might be worth another look.
I'm sure I saw something.
I think I've got it.

ReplyDeleteWhat fun -- you were patient to watch the whole episode as this lovely guy found and disposed of breakfast! My mother, who was really rather proper, loved to recite the old rhyme about the pelican (with the sort of swear-word at the end) making my little brother and me roar with laughter at her. The open beak pictures reminded me of that!
