Waders ready to leave.

Almost time to wave our waders goodbye as they head off to their breeding grounds. The Pacific Golden Plover were showing off their beautiful colours.

Pacific Golden Plover (Pluvialis fulva)

Lesser Sand Plover (Charadrius mongolus)
Whimbrel (Numenius phaeopus)

    Hello, the Golden Plovers are beautiful. I have seen the whimbrel here bu the others would be new birds for me. Great post. Happy Wednesday, have a happy day!

    The waders really do look so good in their breeding plumage - pity we dont get to see more of it!
