Intermediate Egret

This Intermediate Egret was hunting for a meal at our local pond. Hard going for the size and density of the Water Lily pads, but not impossible as the last photo shows.

A fable on the value of perseverance and persistence. I love a happy ending!

What an amazing series. It's amazing to watch them walk on the lily pads like that! Glad it made a successful catch!

Very nice indeed to get one with the fish in its beak.

Great captures of the Intermediate Egret Neil! It looks alot like our Great Egret in the states.

That last shot with the bird in the "recoil" position and the fish in beak, set against the lily pads is amazing.

Thanks Larry, in the right spot at the right time.

Beautiful setting ... all the shades of green ... the white white of the Egret ... engaged in its environment... Your photos are stunning!
