Neil what is the reason for the trees on the shore dieing, has the sea level or the salinity risen. A very beautiful place.

The dead trees are most likely the result of Storm surges and resulting erosion over time. As this was our first ever visit to Moreton Island it is hard to know when the trees first started to die.
